In this 3D first-person, narrative-focused survival horror game, you play as Penn, a hyper-intelligent chimpanzee leading the desperate escape of lab animals from a nightmarish facility, where every corner hides new terror.
Armed only with your wits, a gravity manipulation tool, and accompanied by your scrappy rat companion Trip, you’ll stealthily navigate the dystopian Anchorage Station, relentlessly stalked by a monstrous chimera of experiments gone wrong.
Uncover the truth behind what happened here.

Be quick and quiet.

Time is running out...

Ah, in this day and age, finally a character we can all identify with! Going to add it to my wishlist and get it on day one, as it already has the atmosphere of Stasis. I think I heard the little melody in Bone Totem—are the games related? Is it a sequel or spin-off?

Its related'ish - in the same way the Tarentino movies are related. We have some crossover - but thats more in the easter egg side of things.

So, Alien Isolation at Walm- Cayne, then?

Let's hope there's some shooting. Still no Crusader game though. Hopefully I can play it.

Will this game feature the characters dying horribly? I'm not talking about the ending as it's a given by now, heh.

BTW - if anyone wants to do me a solid and post about the game over on Reddit Games or Reddit Gaming - I'd appreciate it! I'm banned on there for talking about our games too much.. :D

No comment... but my wife refuses to watch me play, and Nics wife cried when we mentioned just ONE on the things that happens in the game.
That makes sense. If something horrible happens to the monkey or that cute little mice, even the soulless, bitter grognard here will shed a tear, as there’s some emotional attachment to those characters. It was the same for the characters in Stasis Bone Totem; we could relate to them and sympathize with that couple, which is quite rare in video games. So, it’s definitely too much for some.

Three important questions:

1. pls is no aminals hurt during this game?
2. can you punch up bad science human mans to death?
3. is rat friend forever okay and cuddly?

Stealth is hard to do. Feedback is crucial. The video did remind me of Amnesia The Bunker especially if there is to be a "Nemesis" type of stalker. Good luck!

The Bunker is a huge inspiration for us - we are bringing in aspects of the immersive sim gameplay with a 'Nemesis' - but also have some other creatures and environmental dangers to manage.
The main interaction in the game is through use of the Grav Tool - basically think Halflife 2's grav gun - you can move things, throw things, craft offensive/defensive items and then propel them through the air - the focus is on puzzle solving, resource management, and picking your battles.

2 - Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
3 - You can pet him. But he is a psychopath who just wants the world to burn.

I'll admit that I was a bit disappointed when you said that this was going to be a first-person 3D game and not an isometric point-and-click adventure like your previous games, but this trailer was excellent. If the game is as atmospheric as this video suggests, I'll buy it on day one.

Looks great, I really enjoyed Stasis 2, slightly upset it's not more directly related, but I'm looking forward to it and wish you the best of luck.

Gave you some likes, wishlists and follows to help with the algo.

this looks really gorgeous Pyke , how is the transition from top-down to first person going?

I think Im finding it easier than Nic - but have embraced it! It was daunting at first - but you do have a lot more 'fun' in the early prototype stages - cos its easy to make things cool and reactive.

We will still do cool isometric games. We have the design doc for the next Stasis game locked - so will return to it at some point.

Using the success of wukong to capitalize on monkes. Nice.
CHIMPANZEES ARE NOT MONKEYS. LEARN THE DIFFERENCE. (But yeah - we actually started noticing a lot of simian-games when we started development!)

Yay another cool looking game! When I saw this at Twitter I thougt it is some activist stuff at first, then saw who posted it! Congrats on your first FPS also.

Thanks!

How does it feel to be more interesting than any AAA studio these days?
Ill let you know in 2 years.. :D
