That wasn't elegant, but it was hysterical :D

I liked the "pieces falling from the ceiling" Tim Schafer line...

He could probably actually put it on Kickstarter and it would be accepted. I've seen weirder shit. (the 1 million death star anyone ? - or less obvious scams, tropes vs. womyn)

People criticizing Matt here for trying too hard have really no idea, let's look at some real projects:
About hookers:
p.s. we have 2 extra reward tiers but they are a bit too......"outlandish" to put in this official Kickstarter page so go here and we'll let you know what they are.
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1451923705/make-leisure-suit-larry-come-again

Now they have made it for backers only but when the campaign was still running it was visible for everyone, inshort it was a weekend in Las Vegas, that is not only famous for its casinos but brothels and strip tease bars too, well, they didn't expicitly mentioned that but was quite obvious.

And about I invented new genres of game, and the Internet, well sorta:
Released in 1986 on the Commodore 64, Amiga, and other early platforms as the world's first "computer novel", Rob Swigart's Portal (1986) was an epic science-fiction tale-within-a-tale
FUN FACT: One of the original Portal's predictions was a universe of 11-dimensions (10 of space, 1 of time) NINE YEARS before quantum physicist Ed Witten combined the five existing superstring theories into a single 11-dimensional theory in 1995 (M-Theory). It also predicted the Internet.
$14,849
pledged of $900,000 goal

It scares me how quickly you were able to correct that statement.

Before watching the video, I admit having the same thought . . . Only it wasn't sarcastic and I wasn't willing to give precious money.

Come on, he obviously didn't copy it. He just made Matt's kickstarter spiritual successor.

I wouldn't say try to hard, but his "performance" was a bit way out there at points. He wasn't subtle enough IMO. Even a bit clownish.

It did have several fun moments/points though.
