I have a good collection of Insomnia: The Ark avatars I just made before realizing this, but it's all concept art. All 103x128 (that right?)

Since you're willing to grant custom avatar to those who wish so anyway, why haven't you allow custom avatars already? Infinitron
Is the problem technical/software-related? Since if the problem is that you worry about retards with inappropriate avatars, you can always limit custom avatars to 1 year membership and/or donation, and you can also punish those who use inappropriate avatar as you see fit.
