Nobody gives a shit that some moron is wasting his money making Dustborn or similar products. It's just something to laugh at.
Except it’s not his money:
Red Thread Games[dustborn developer] received financial support from the Norwegian Film Institute from 2019 through 2024, totaling 15,600,000 NOK (approx. $1.5 million) under the scheme "development of games after artistic assessment" (Utvikling av spill etter kunstnerisk vurdering).[9][10] The game also received a grant of €150,000 from the EU's Creative Europe project, and 300,000 NOK from Viken Filmsenter.[11][12]

Same could be said of all similar products, they’re not wasting their money, they wasting YOUR money.
And that’s something to laugh at.
I did think about that when I wrote it. I suppose in this case Dustborn is a poor example, I was just too lazy to think of a better one.

I'm not really sure what the solution is for such things, really.
