-There will no longer be ANY Half-Orcs with pink hair
Ah, all those poor feminist self-inserts gone.
-There will no longer be ANY Half-Orcs with pink hair
I was talking about Planescape: Torment specifically. Chris himself said that JRPGs like FFVI and Chrono Trigger had a significant influence on the development of the game.
I have sympathy for the people making these mods, but remember that the left is perfectly comfortable with the conservative opposition being offended prudes. You're basically playing your part in their little fantasy. I can definitely see us moving into a situation where these woke studios keep pushing overt gay crap while the mod community rushes to cover it up, a perverse version of the Bethesda cycle of botched launches / "mods will fix it" .
If you want to be really subversive, you have to be a bit more edgy. Let us make fun of their characters, call them faggots/child molesters, have the game acknowledge it. That's guaranteed to send the journos/trannies over the edge.
I have nothing against orcs with pink hair, but I'd like to see mod that makes Baldur's Gate (I mean the city) more "realistically rasist". I mean, that's a freaking medieval city, it should be rasist as hell. But instead we see drow and duergars walking freely on the streets, and nobody tells a word.
Depends on the location. The tiefling refugees subplot happens because their city blames them for the city getting dragged into a devil vs demon scuffle. That is 5e lore accurate, unfortunately.

Race?I have nothing against orcs with pink hair, but I'd like to see mod that makes Baldur's Gate (I mean the city) more "realistically rasist". In a new blog post on D&D Beyond, the company explained that it had decided to remove the race from One D&D, which is essentially its next edition. "We understand "race" is a problematic term that has had prejudiced links between real world people and the fantasy peoples of D&D worlds," the blog post read. "The usage of the term across D&D and other popular IP has evolved over time. Now it's time for the next evolution."
