First look at NPC portraits in BG3.
Yep, basically what is happening to the Forgotten Realms franchise is a GREAT template to what will happen to the Star Wars franchise. Basically everyone still somewhat invested in the franchise, including Filoni himself, are waiting for the inevitable "soft reboot" to happen.

Where did you get some in this thread ?Yep, basically what is happening to the Forgotten Realms franchise is a GREAT template to what will happen to the Star Wars franchise. Don't give me hope.
How the fuck can you just come out and say some retarded shit like that and not die of embarrassment?Even though I liked The Last Jedi quite a lot

ok smartass how else do you plan to get to page 300 at this rateAlways nice to read about Star Wars in a Baldur's Gate thread. Do go on. I insist.
Make no mistake: I'm not saying that Disney will "decanonise" the Sequel Era and its related products. Instead they'll move a completely different era and never, EVER, look at the Sequel Era again.

Because I have the ability known as critical and contextual thinking. TLJ is a pretty good movie, good cinematography, and it brought some interesting ideas which always plagued this franchise to the forefront, while fixing others (the borderline/straight-up fascistic elements, the incest, and the nature of a hero). It didn't go as far as KotOR2 with the radicalism, but it made me think that Kreia, while right about the general concept, wasn't correct in assuming destroying the Force was the only option to fix the underlying existential dread of this setting.
No, this thread should be used for its intended purpose --- discussion of classic D&D/AD&D from its origins through TSR's demise in 1997.Always nice to read about Star Wars in a Baldur's Gate thread. Do go on. I insist.
Elves are already a combination ofGot any good houserules for multiclassing in B/X? It's weird how all demihumans are fighters.
Elves are already a combination offighting manfighter and magic-user in OD&D, B/X, and BECMI.
The Spellplague was the single dumbest thing ever in the entire human history of marketing.Yep, basically what is happening to the Forgotten Realms franchise is a GREAT template to what will happen to the Star Wars franchise. That explains why Mandalorian felt like a cartoon more than like a TV show or a movie.Yep, basically what is happening to the Forgotten Realms franchise is a GREAT template to what will happen to the Star Wars franchise. Notice that, outside of a completely throwaway line about Canto Bight in one episode, none of Filoni's works (Mandalorian; Clone Wars; Rebels) has even a single mention of anything related to Disney Wars? It seems obvious he attempts to "wait out the storm" with his works, and make them as easy as possible to reinstate into a potential reboot.
Oh, one more thing: about Ashoka being confirmed as dead in Rise of Stinkwalker? Filoni already confirmed this is not the case. A "regular" LucasFilm employee just straight out told in an interview that the movie is wrong.
