Glad to see they returned to updating and expanding this game. I absolutely loved it and am eagerly waiting for this DLC to dive back into it. Still hoping they'll return rivers to the game and add bridge battles one day. Also remember them wanting to expand the game with a demon faction back in the day. Wonder if they'll ever do that.

And I'm mighty curious about their next project. They're really keeping quiet on that one.

Btw, for those who don't know. Sometimes the art dude shares some wip art on this here thread on their forums. Lots of little bits of info there.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I'm starting to get very hyped for this DLC. I don't care for the new setting part of it or the new enemies so much, but all the other changes are pretty damn cool.

Indeed. It surprises me they are doing such important (and desirable) changes and treat them almost like a side thing, compared to their DLC content.

I remember fielding a full Naffatun + 1 general army in Medieval Total War. High Valour = High Accuracy with grenades = Mass Exterminatus = Fun times. Will try to replicate this tactic in BB. Gotta name my company "The Holy Hand Grenadiers".

P.s. Maybe they could add byzantine syphonatores as well? Now that would be swell <3

Well, if early guns and naphta are there, siphons were very much a thing before guns at least. Also dont tell me you dont want to scorch them Schrats with Greek Fire.

part of the fanbase is already buttmad from the introduction of firearms, imagine the rage if they add a portable flamethrower.
which I think is weird. The game has a very old school Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay vibe to it, which had matchlock guns and it was totally cool and totally X-TREME and I loved it.

I don't know why, but everytime I read the thread's name I see Battle Brothels

That actually isn't half bad idea for a management game.
Gather hoes, secure supplies, beat down unruly customers, compete with other Battle Brothels.
Choose where to move based on intel you extracted from drunk dead customers.
There are profits to be made.

I bet there are ~69998934309009865 games about it.

When is this coming to Switch? I want to introduce my 8 year old son to turn based combat on the machine he uses to play Mario while decapitating people. Then we are going to start playing gold box games. Then move to Fallout in a couple of years. If I can get him to play Wizardry VII and Ultima IV, I will successful COVID spread the incline.

So that's what they are asking for with the constant bitching about battle sisters...

I just want an option in the settings to speed up combat animations, then I can consider playing this shit again
I'm not sure when they added it, but there is such an option now. Or two even: one for your troops and one for the enemy.

Now all I want is a 5x or 10x toggle for the overland map.
