I wonder if a decaptation is a harsher morale check than a head bash, and if not it should be. Also change second billhook option from pull to tear out intestines and fling them across the battlefield for harshest morale check.

Fatalities (head explosion or decapitation) have no special effect on morale beyond that of any kill.

What's the general consensus on cleavers? I've never really used them before, but I just picked up a khopesh in the early game and started using it because I didn't have anything better. It's not really that great, but I can imagine with cleaver specialization the blood damage can really add up. I cut one guy four times with my cleaver user once, which would add up to 40 damage a turn with the specialization.

They're a specialist weapon. Bleed doesn't work against most undead (none but necrosavants, I believe), but decapitate does prevent them from rising again, which is valuable. And you need health damage for the effect, so heavily armored targets with battle-forged will need to be cracked open. Also there have been some bug reports (not sure if fixed) whereby enemies who die from bleeding out don't give XP or loot, which is pretty significant if still broken. (The main enemies bleed is useful against are those where you can get stacks on, which correspond to some of the toughest combatants in the game, e.g. knights and warlords, but those are also a good source of unique loot.) So you'll have to be careful to deliver the killing blow manually until it's confirmed fixed.

On the other hand, cleavers on duelists (+armor penetration), particularly unique orc cleavers, do massive damage and can show up in some optimized builds.

Named normal cleavers can have the same damage range as named orc cleavers if you're lucky enough to get one with enhanced damage it's pretty nice not having that fatigue penalty.

I believe they're subject to the same pool of randomly selected buffs from the base, meaning that an orc cleaver that gets the best available damage buff will do more than a normal cleaver with the same buff. You might be better off with the human one in that situation, but you're a lot likelier to get a named orc cleaver in most games. (Since they drop off of orcs, who are fought often and have a limited weapon pool, relative to human cleaver-wielders.)

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
So I led my last EA company to glorious death by around 8 orc warriors and 6 youngs. I am ready for the full release now!
I wish the game great success!! It deserves it. :salute:

I decaped fallen hero ( I was for his armor), he raised without head. No armor or helmet on loot.

Yep. That happened to me before.
My advice after taking out a fallen hero is to loot his weapon.

Well in next fight I got armor from fallen hero. I used bro with Dodge, nimble, overwhelm and Dagger specs. Also I soften him a little by 2hander. Got me decayed coat of scales. 240 armor - 36 fatigue.

Well helms are kinda usable. It's easy to get one and they got around 240 armor. I got my ambition to get 3 heavy armor sets by looting fallen heroes. (+ bought 2 body suits)

Well during unread scourge every one who dies rise up. Sometimes it led to interesting results - dead bro rises up and kill orc. Why not make unread orcs who rise up and kill orcs/bros?
