Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Politics aside, it's impressive how HBS's artists put inXile's to shame,:)
Surprise, surprise, good art direction and technical expertise actually count for something. Who could've guessed.
Wonder who's handling that for Battletech.

even with their heavy use of college interns.
Hey, they actually promote some of their interns to full-time. Bretty gud for a small company like Harebrained.

Anyway, should generate a bit of drama come release time.
Certainly, because HBS decided to push racist commie fantasies of the far-left instead of just making a fucking non-politcal game. The Battletech universe was always diverse and not just a bunch of people in different shades of dark brown.

Wonder why did they insist on close-up screens when the birds eye view (with the interface on) would've surely looked much better and shown the game how it looks most of the time.

I imagine for players from the TT Battletech (or Mechwarrior) communities mech porn >> everything for building up hype.

Why is the Portuguese/Egyptian person that dark?

Why indeed ...

Its nationality, skin color is irreverent ... in fact those bios are beyond retard since who ever come up with then fails to understand ethnicity=/=nationality, not to say they could pick up a fucking map because its not like Egypt is next to Iberia, its across the fucking Med.

Aren't these people out of earth? Why does it matter how close Portugal and Egypt are, do you think an Irish/Italian American is unlikely because Ireland and Italy are not neighbours?

Yeah and it's also 1000 years from now and yet all the currently existing countries still apparently exist in the exact state they are today.

We don't really know if those backgrounds are in-game or just something they used to guide character designs.

Remember the first glance of ToN, it was made by interns too, and in the end more impressive than the final product.

I was gonna comment that who cares about the color of the pilots, but yeah those character profiles are p. retarded. Hawaian/Icelandic/African/Korean ancestry with a dash of Arabia. wtf

I don't think you remember what a PS2 game looked like.
Well, look at a PS2 game running @1080p. You have a nice resolution, but the textures are still garbage. They actually look even worse in battletech, it all just looks like a blurry shit in different colors.

It is of course a dev build, but it would be hilarious if the game was released like this.
