Some of those guys have said what I've been saying, others seem to believe that some of those things are actually armor to be treated as as such, when, in fact, they don't actually provide any protection in game, either. Like the "crown is not armor" guy? Yeah, it isn't armor in the game, either! The armor value of crowns in Diablo is "jack shit". It's all about them stat bonii, you get shit armor value from them. I say it's totally fine to have non-armor things in the game, that aren't actually armor in the game. Many of the criticized costumes are, in fact, just BDSM outfits, not actually armor, as the character in question takes damage exactly the same as guys who are clearly not armored, so it's not even armor in the game.
