My best split screen games where nfs2, neo geo fighting games ( art of fighting 3, samurai shodown 3,4,5 , street fighter etc.), dinasty warriors 4 duel [ Zhou Thai vs Lu Bu ] ). Those were the times... 5-6 friends, booze, cigarettes and long nights.

had a lot of fun playing coop armorines with a friend back then.

damn tough game, plus no saving. either you beat the level or you can start again! every time we played wed be progressing a bit further :salute:

Atomic Bomberman. It's not "split screen" but it can be played by two people on the same computer. I think it even works with more if you have another controller but I'm not sure. Anyway if you do want to play it make sure you have good keyboard that doesen't get stuck when you press 3+ keys at the same time, otherwise major butthurt may ensue.

From the good old days, it's gotta be Mario Kart for SNES.
But lately the game that has provided my more split-screen mayhem and fun is Left 4 Dead 2, granted it needs a few tweaks and console fumbling to get it working but it works flawlessly, I wonder why devs locked this away?
