PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I never played the third fire emblem, so when I saw this character design in the new game I laughed

See that star? You can fly there.

As you create and explore new worlds, the fate of your galaxies is in your hands as you set off on an action packed adventure.

  • Explore New Worlds - Players can also explore galaxies created by other players, including prominent scientists and fictional world-builders like Tyson, Bill Nye, George R.R. Martin, Neil Gaiman, and Peter Beagle.
  • Metroidvania Style - Players can explore, though access to parts is limited until developing the technology, skills, tools or resources to unlock access.
  • Machine Learning - An intelligent game where game play decisions directly affect and change the environment and game play for others.
  • Immersive VR Missions - Space Odyssey will bring exciting, immersive virtual reality special missions to the game.
  • Pilot Spaceships - Construct your spacecraft, equip it with the tools you'll need to accomplish challenges and pilot it through friends’ planetary systems, mysterious planets and unknown stars.

Full of dated references, yet still amazing. :salute:

Shame that now we know he didn't achieve much afterwards, it takes a bit of the magic away...then again, the same could be said of Don Quixote himself. What matters is the dream. The impossible dream.

To be fair the game industry has been going even more backwards since then. We have lost so many interesting type of games compared to the 90's. And even Indies are disappointing even though they should have all resources available in their hand.

He also has done a decent amount of writing on various subjects over the years:

Apparently they were working on this Resident Evil-like thing before scrap it and turning into "arena" shooter:

I don't know, I think it works perfectly in vacuum and is rather inspiring. No need to shoot the messenger.
