But why? PUBG already has a map like that.
Wasn't their previous game a follower to the DayZ/survival game craze? Then I guess it's pretty natural they follow the new craze streamlined from the previous one.
edit: oh the previous one is still in EA.
Google prepping game streaming service - Report
Offering codenamed Yeti would work either with Chromecast or potential Google console
Companies large and small have been attempting to bring on-demand streaming to gaming with limited success, and Google may be the next company to join the pursuit. According to a report from The Information, Google is working on a subscription-based game streaming service.
Citing "people with knowledge of the project," The Information reports that the service is being developed under the codename Yeti, but it's unclear exactly how users would access it yet. Two possibilities are that it would work on Google's Chromecast streaming digital media players, or that it would work on a Google-developed console.
Reports of Google considering an entry into the console market have been reported for years, but such efforts never found their way to market. There's some reason to think things may be different this time around. Last month, Google hired former PlayStation and Xbox executive Phil Harrison to work on a new business for the company. Harrison couldn't say what his new role would entail, but did describe it as an "extremely special opportunity."
Source: Capcom Lays Off Staff, Cuts Scope On Next Dead Rising
Capcom has laid off a significant number of staff in its Vancouver office as part of a shift that saw the company cancel an unannounced project and cut scope on the next Dead Rising, according to a person familiar with the company as well as various posts on social media.
The source, who spoke anonymously so as not to risk their career, said around 50 people were laid off as part of a reorganization aimed to streamline the company and wrangle the next Dead Rising, which had been over-scoped and under-staffed (as many video games are). Per Linkedin, Capcom Vancouver had around 250 employees. The studio is best known for developing the second, third, and fourth games in Capcom’s humorous zombie-killing series.
The unannounced game, which was a very early prototype and had not yet been greenlit, was envisioned as a third-person action-adventure game set in an alternate reality version of New York, the source said.
Capcom Vancouver also works on mobile games including last year’s Puzzle Fighter and other unannounced projects.
UPDATE (2/6, 10:08am): Capcom has sent over the following statement:
Capcom Vancouver has undergone a restructure which has impacted approximately 30% of the studio, as part of its regular periodic assessment of upcoming projects and overall studio goals. The team is continuing to work hard to support the recent release of Puzzle Fighter for mobile and is dedicated to its flagship Dead Rising series.

Is this your channel?'s altfree999enigma's, whose entire posting history consists of shilling his shitty videos and/or the companies he promotes, either by starting a thread for them (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7), or piggybacking them into his upcoming games this week thread. The channel itself has 178k subs but averages a couple thousand views per vid -- sometimes only a few hundred -- meaning it's either fake, too low quality to retain interest, or both.
