I dislike unskippable cutscenes. I like watching them the first time,but afterwards, I generally skip them if they are on the long side.

To be fair, many people like Serana primarily due to her having her backstory fleshed out much more than the other companions that you can pick up in the base game.

It's not much of a backstory.

I agree with the Partician guy's 20 hr vid. She's clearly someone's ideal waifu who ticks all the boxes for their self-insert. Her function, in-game, is to fondle the player's ego.

No arguments here.
Vampire daddy issues. She's not a completely bad follower,but I really don't like followers in Skyrim. Only ones I like are Jordis the Sword Maiden(best waifu),and Teldryn Sero(the Dunmer mercenary from Solstheim). Awesome follower and voice actor(excellent Morrowind Dunmer voice). Dragonborn Expansion is full of Morrowind nostalgia.
