ghostdog said:just use the floppy version. The CD version has just slightly better music quality and the sfx are exactly the same. Other than that, they're identical.

I just got off underground-gamer the cd version of BaK, which I've never tried out before (I've always played the floppy-disk version), and the damn thing just won't start. I installed it, mounted the cd with dosbox (for the music), but when I start the game the screen goes all black, and after a few seconds it closes itself.
I've tried running the floppy-disk version, and the game works a-ok. However, looking at both folders, the floppy version clearly has more files in it, which is p. strange. Can anyone help?
Also, here are my mounting instructions:
mount c e:\dosbox\krondor
imgmount d e:\krondor\krondor.cue -t iso
c:
Krondor

cd dynamix
cd bakcd
krondor

with an installer and a premade autoloading dosbox config.
