Nobody cares. it's got to be disappointing for the devs and paradox that the game is mostly ignored by everyone and has zero hype surrounding it.

It's a complete surprise why a relatively no-name studio coupled with lackluster trailers and gameplay footage would result in a thunderous "meh."

They probably need more time to properly review and implement the new trigger warning system... :|

Also, when it comes time for the crunch, blue haired feminists and soy boys always drop the ball. No surprise that there wasn't enough actual grind to get this out the door on time.

This is probably the whole reason. Their precious work-life balance was more important than the schedule
I am not sure if this is supposed to be an insult, cause compared to the most game dev losers, who complain about working 70 hours a week animating horseballs and not seeing their families for months, people who noped out of the crunch for their personal life seem to be the more smart and ballsier ones.

Uh what? We talking Red Dead 2 here?

New tagline?

RPG Codex > Very angry about Bloodlines 2

Dunno, "Very Meh! about Bloodlines 2" seems more appropriate

I find that "I don't care about this" in internet-speak is often "I care very deeply about this"

Perhaps I'm just projecting. I think VTM is a fabulouso setting for vidya gamez and I'm saddened to no end that this is potentially hit by one of the worse cases of woke-itis we've seen. And I'm even sort of whatever on the whole woke-thing to begin with

The whining will continue until new gameplay footage is released. Right now the game is an empty canvas that people are projecting their worst fears onto. Bloodlines 2 brand on the Codex == a Cara Ellison interview, looped endlessly.

They haven't exactly done much to assuage those fears.

I mean it's not totally unfair. You don't know me to be a doomsayer but I gotta say the amount of wokeness on the team is worrying.

Somewhat more wokeness than Obsidian, I guess. The difference is that we pretty quickly got to see that The Outer Worlds, whatever its faults, wasn't a blue-haired tranny simulator. It's been 14 months since we saw any gameplay footage for this game, of course people are restless.

I hate the precedents that Bloodlines 2 has the potential to set. Trigger warnings on quests is pure decline even by the usual standards of wokeness.

WOD is a horror setting, designers shouldn't be worried about content "triggering" people.
