True. The combat in Bloodlines was easy too though if you made a melee character.

Only if that melee character had celerity, fortitude, and/or protean. A melee ventrue or malkavian is pretty gimped just because of their lack of good combat disciplines. The best combat tricks you have up your sleeve only work on the lowlier humans, after all. They don't really work well, or at all in some cases, on vampire hunters, vampires, zombies, etc.

I disagree about the melee Malkav. Granted their mind powers won't work on the more poweful creatures in the game, but that's really only bosses. I've frenzied quite a few Sabbat and caused them to fight each other. Also, by the time you get to the more powerful creatures, you should have a high enough melee and defense that it's not much of a bother as long as you've made proper preparations. I've not had a problem with my melee Malkav. Matter of fact, the plaquebearer you fight in the sewers was nothing to her, whereas my melee Toreador at higher skill and celerity on, got her butt kicked the first couple of times I fought him.

I had a Tremere without any real combat skills, what I did was turn on bloodshield, fight a bit with bloodbuff on until I was very low, then I started to run around the area in circles like a pansy (Monthy Python Life of Brian flashback) until my health regenerated enough for part 2.

My Ventrue had maxed fortitude, so the melee was fine for me. Anything which didn't deal aggravated damage didn't deal damage, period.

I was right. Whoever disagreed with me was wrong. Next.

The problem is that nearly everything from Grout's mansion on does deal aggravated damage.

Well, it would have been too easy in a lot of cases if enemies didn't deal aggravated damage. The whole china town end section was a bit pointless for me though since only the flaming crossbow guys and the boss were capable of hurting me. I'll be interested to see how my persuasion gunslinger toreador gets on.

Kiss her ass literally. When she asks for certain things do it. Always agree with her. Then come back later in the game after her main quest is over.

No, it doesn't. KOTOR is pretty balanced between combat and non combat through out for it.

i probably have played another game then.
