So, we fund games for obsidian and then they get screw in the ass by a publisher? so my dream that they get money from POE for future projects is gone?

Who want to fund more kickstarter games from obsidian to help publishers fuck then?

Edit: Redneck Rampage a title to be proud of?! oh, come on....

One of the best damn first person shooters before they all started taking themselves too seriously.

In '97, the same year Redneck Rampage (which is a watery shit bathed by the warm sun) came out, another FPS launched that is trully worthy of the title "One of the best damn first person shooters".
And it's name is Blood.

Check those preteen testosterone levels, you're getting overexcited there.

Blood, indeed. Top 5 material. Past that, Redneck Rampage is still one of the best and there were an awful lot of FPSs back then.

Redneck Rampage ... not very well designed at all.

But it is. Weapons are fun to use. Enemies are a crazed bunch that are hilarious and terrifying at the same time. Level design and art direction are very high. Plus the backwater redneck white trash setting. It's a very well designed game. Too bad if you couldn't realise and enjoy that.

Now that this mini-brainchild of yours is out there, you can finally go your merry way thinking you are the shit and that game is exquisite.

Indeed.

I'm pretty sure Obsidian will get their royalties. They own the franchise.

For the record the exact comment starts around 3:30.
