Well finished it and clocked in at 5h 12m, I stand by my previous statement and would give the game a 7/10. Not too much replay value I think and I haven't checked out the multiplayer so I can't help there, so I would say it's definately worth a rental.

Graphics look like shit. Seriously, for a DX10 game (it is isn't it?) it looks craptacular. That's what I get for staring at Crysis all day long I guess. The interface is crap (and what's up with the shitty menu appearance?). Gameplay is so-so, although I really dig the whole western feel. Game suffers from retarded AI, but that's how games are supposed to be like nowadays I guess (hard difficulty makes it bearable). I give it 2 replays at most (I'm almost done with the first). The game does have atmosphere which makes it better than the other moronic console FPS games out there. 7/10 for me.

Confederates are cool = [

Yes they are. Liked the part where you man a Gatling gun a mow down rows of filthy Yankee soldiers, Rambo style. Although I don't remember the Confederates using Gatling guns; poor beggars couldn't afford them :) .

This was fun. Short, dumb, often ugly, filled with bad acting, bad animation, but a lot of fun. Except for the duels. I suck at them. But the atmosphere, the occasional visuals that really pull it off, the gunfights, that saved the game for me. A bit of railroaded fun never hurt anybody. I just wish there were more of those moments when you can just roam around and explore and do side missions. I liked that.

I wonder how much cash Techland put into this game.

Didn't the first one start off with a cinematic of the protagonist getting a blowjob?

Not start, but there was a scene of that in the first part of the game, yes.
You met some woman you knew when you were younger (maybe a barmaid, or a whore? don't remember) and she opens your character's pants and says "Oh, how you've grown since I've seen you the last time!"

Loved the first one, if only for the last mission:

I mean that part where you play the grandfather during his last breath and have to save your grandson and his girlfriend, while your aiming controls are fucked up (because you are currently dying). A bit clichéd, but very memorable.

Techland, the developer of Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, announced three pieces of DLC are on the way but few other details. Two will be multiplayer map, the third is for the singleplayer mode.
 That was obvious. Milk em`Ubi. This is the new standard of the industry, minimum: 3 DLCs.
