For all the effort this game seems to have had invested, it's suprisingly bland.

Shame, there are so few decent crpg style RPGs for mobile.

I like the portly merchant in the caves. He seems like a stand up kind of guy unlike those deadbeats you recruit before them. So I gave him some heavy armor and a halberd to keep him safe. The big dumb goy in tombs is also quite sturdy and suitable for a guy with heavy armor and shield. The free fairy was made into my healer and I took the petrified Wizard because it makes me think of Golodon the Unmanned. So it's me, the king of the merchants, my dog (who is also a great caster thanks to the orbs), and those who I already mentioned.

Dog & the Scaphin are the best. Scaphin are such innocent creatures yet have very based views on Goblin personality. On the same note, I didn't
decalcify the character in Bleak Halls
yet he showed up in the finale and talked my ear off and had majority of dialogue. I saw a sizable update a few weeks afterwards so I hope the dev took my advice after I pointed that out to him.

I was looking forward to finally trying this but my tolerance for RPGs where combat is so excessive but so uninteresting has really dropped in the last few years. Guess I'll try it again some other time..

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I found the piercer plant for Kazimar in Kalindraur, gave it to him, defeated some monster that appeared and when I tried to loot after the fight the first slot looked empty, the rest was random minerals, I could only progress by accepting that I leave loot behind (I couldn't take the invisible item from the first slot). After I came back to Kalindraur, Kazimar has a giant red/yellow exclamation mark over him, but no new quests or interactions. Same thing happens when I reload a save. It's bugged, isn't it?

I just started this game due to Yosharian’s Steam post on it finally breaking my build paralyzation, and ho boy does it seem like a fun time. Though I’m already tired of spamming spells to learn them.

There is repetition, no two ways around it.

My favorite part was exploration, and relative low amount of hand holding.

Yeah I gave up on it due to the combat system becoming extremely tiresome

Combat is a bit of a slog at times, yeah, especially vs weaker enemies, I have a strategy figured out for creatures like mushrooms or zombies after a few encounters, I really don't need to fight an identical group 10 more times in the same area. At least it's fast. Game's really cool otherwise.
And I'm not a fan of learning skills by using them, that always sounds interesting in theory, but in practice I just end up using buffs and heals for no reason other than that I want characters to memorize them or unlock further skills.
