Rapidshareeeee-- just make a copy of your existing client, then overwrite that client's haven.jar with the above (Pooc's client). You'll probably end up losing any fancy graphics and shit improvements you had.
Introduction
All right peeps, I mentioned this before. I'd tried it for a few hours until the recent update b0rked it. Pooc's updated it now and I've just let it run overnight.
This haven.jar file does 2 things. Firstly, it makes night-time disappear. Everywhere you go will be full daylight. That includes mines and caves.
The second thing it does is auto-digs clay, crafts teapots, eats apples and drinks water. It does sometimes randomly crash (been pretty stable so far apart from once for me) and it of course shuts down completely when the server goes down and needs to be restarted.
I let it run over-night, there was a server crash this morning sometime but here are some numbers:
458 LP per minute. 27,500 LP per hour; An estimated 660,000 LP per 24 hours.
That's with Mr Bones who's full change, grinding at the Q45 clay spot South of the mine.
A few things:
What you choose to do is up to you. If you don't want to use it that's fine but those that would like some higher skills being ground on an alt while they work in town or go out exploring, or even grinding their main while they're at school, now have an option.
Instructions
Caveats/Preamble before instructions: (_(_):::::::::::::::::::::::::: D
1) Before running it (through the console commands), open up your inventory (and leave it open for the whole time you're using the clay grind).
2) You need a waterskin (and only a waterskin-- I haven't modified it for anything else; too lazy and all that) at the top-left position of your inventory screen.
3) You need at least 5 spaces free in your inventory.
4) You need an apple tree near the water you want to claygrind. The closer the apple tree, the better; the higher the clay quality, the better
5) You should avoid clicking with the mouse while it's running as you may accidentally drop the waterskin if you're doing the drinking grind at the moment. You can chat and type, though, generally without a problem.
6) There is a delay between finishing eating apples and walking to the water to drink/claygrind; and then once again when you reach the water. It's all right-- it's supposed to happen (ie. I haven't gotten around to fixing it yet). It's absolutely no problem once the client starts doing its own thing and you go off to look at porn, or go to school or work. When you start the grind for the first time however, you can just open up the character screen when the delay happens, then close it after a few moments, both times it happens.
Instructions: (_(_)::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: D
1) First of all, open up your inventory screen.
2) type :vstartall to initiate all of the commands (the preceding ":" means you're speaking with the console, so don't type it into chat; type it with the chatbox unselected [no flashing cursor or whatever]).
3) go stand in the water where you want to grind clay.
4) type :vhard to initiate the shit; and then once you've typed it, right-click on the apple tree and hit pick apple as usual. At this point the grinder should be automated and you can sit back and watch the fun. The first step in the process will always be to eat apples from the tree. It's just the way I did it.
Stopping Instructions: (_(_):::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: D
When you're done or want to do something like kill a bear then...
1) Click anywhere or on anything to move and stop the grind (closing Inventory probably isn't advised since it'll likely crash on you).
2) type :vdestr to kill the grind, freeing you to do whatever you want. Afterward, you can do it all over again following the instructions to start the grinder.
Comments: (_(_)::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: D
You'll notice that your command prompt is spamming out useless information; don't worry about that-- just minimize the command prompt if it's annoying you. One day, I'll get the program nice and shiny, and might even implement a GUI (with all sorts of things like automated farming and automated porn-searching).
Let's call this version 0.10 and it should work with the current update. You may notice that an H&H update will cause the grinder to stop working; and if there are no other problems with the modified client, then that's because J0rb/L0ftar fudged up the graphical indices (by adding a new construction/craft item) and, say, apple is no longer 4546 or whatever. Fixing this isn't a problem, but gets really annoying the more H&H "updates" come out.
You'll also probably notice that my client doesn't actually bypass menus and stuff. That is because those menus are received from the server itself-- not kept tucked away in the code (I lie somewhat because the instructions to draw those "flower" menus, however, are in the client code. What I could do next is take away the delay for different "flower" menu options like "pick apple" to appear). This is actually really thoughtfully implemented because it allows server updates to have minimal effect on client version; for example, J0rb/L0ftar can implement a "fuckable loli" object, completely with the graphic and interactivity, without screwing up users with older client versions-- they'll be able to see and use them too!

- Starting with 88,000 LP @ 12:35 am
- 231,000 LP @ 5:47 am (last time I checked before server crashed)
458 LP per minute. 27,500 LP per hour; An estimated 660,000 LP per 24 hours.

A few things:
- Be careful clicking on stuff when it's running as you may drop your waterskin (like I did). Clicking on the character sheet button when it's digging clay or eating apples seems the most low-risk.
- I've even left it running on Bones while on the same PC I was using Pacho's full client with Barry to do some work in town. Last night I let it run on another PC overnight with the monitor turned off.
What you choose to do is up to you. If you don't want to use it that's fine but those that would like some higher skills being ground on an alt while they work in town or go out exploring, or even grinding their main while they're at school, now have an option.
