As discussed in the original thread for this poll, it was intended to cover any and all computer/console RPGs by Japanese developers, not limited to the JRPG subgenre. Thus, Wizardry-likes are fair game, as are CRPGs focused on action-based combat (Dark Souls, Dragon's Dogma, NieR: Automata, Bloodborne, and Demon's Souls).

And that is fucking retarded. This subforum is dedicated to the JRPG subgenre, so not only should games like Dark Souls and Dragon's Dogma have not been included in this poll, but those game's threads shouldn't even be here.

Not only that, but games that are obviously JRPG-esques like Undertale were excluded from the poll. Even when these games are closer to the genre and have their threads in this subforum as well.

It just shows how little care was put in this thing.
