Okay, working from our secret enclave on IRC #fallout and using the networking tool Hamachi, a number of depraved Codexites have been playing Starcraft the past couple of days. However, the possibilities are great. System Shock 2? Diablo 2? Also many emulators have multiplayer capability.

So, here's a thread where we can post what games we have and would be interest in playing. To get onto our "network" get the tool Hamachi:

I did not come up with the name. I had a picture but it posts everyone's IP and so I'm not going to do that. It's a VERY easy to use program.

So, just to start off:

Starcraft: BW- obviously

Warcraft 3: FT

Doom and Doom 2- I have tons of WADs and with Zdoom we could play easily over the network. This game is great for coop.

System Shock 2

Diablo 1 and 2

Mario Kart 64- A few of us are looking into one of the N64 emulators which has network capability. Kodex Kart 64. Imagine it.

Serious Sam 2, and Serious Sam: Second Encounter

Freespace 2 - Best space sim

warsow is decent fps, there is fun team mode whit only rail like gun (you start whit it and 100 health there is nothing to collect on map).

Okay the N64 is just too laggy (crappy netcode and that half of them were in Europe and I'm in Texas).
edit- 2 people can play, or possibly 3 if pings are all below 100, but not four.

I've got Unreal Gold, Unreal Tournament, Unreal Tournament 2004. I think I have 2k3 as well, but probably not all of the disks.

By the way, do any of you have Return to Castle Wolfenstein (not Enemy Territory)?? I would absolutely love to play that game again.

I've got a doom pack. It's like 30 meg or something. It's Final Doom + Doom 2 + TNT + Plutonia. And I've got dozens of WADs. If there's somewhere I could upload it...Actually all I'd need to upload are the WADs since Zdoom can do everything else.

I've not played NWN in LAN multiplayer before, to be honest, but I am sure there are dozens of decent H&S mods out there. If not, we can just wreak havoc on a PW and PK players for fun until we get b&.

Yeah that's what I was afraid of and why I haven't played any games there yet. But why not do one of those 'No DM required' modules? I have one sitting on my hard drive - basically an explore Moria type thing - which looks fun. I'm not looking for a social experience.
