This particular gun falls under the SMG category, which is very broad and includes 1H SMGs, compact SMGs, and assault rifles. They use different ammo types (9mm, .45, and 5.56), so you won't run out of ammo in general, but you could run out of 5.56 fairly quickly, especially if you favor full bursts (vs shot bursts or single shots where applicable).

Possibly. All in favor of renaming SMG to Automatic, vote Agree.

You can carry any two weapons (unlike AoD) and switch between them without any AP cost, but you can't shoot two guns at the same time. It's not that hard to add but it requires unique animations, so it's not something we can consider in the meantime.

Should we follow the industry's trend then and make hard easy (or at least easier) because that's what some players expect?

Suggestion for difficulty modes:

Hard (I have 300 hours in Skyrim bro)
Ultra Hard (I've beat Witcher 3 on highest difficulty...twice)
Ultra Mega Hard (D:OS2 solo? Pffft.)
Nightmare (I know Kung Fu)
Insane (You were warned)
??? (Ascended)
