lol. In retrospect, the fact that they had another Night City Wire episode lined up might have been a hint.

Holy dumpster fire full of shit. Right know I fully expect the head of the studio will run away with money bags, set their main office in Warsaw on fire and the game will never come out. I booked 2 weeks off and feel like an idiot right now. This delay has nothing to do with some Stadia toys or new consoles, they could've just delayed those and patch in for current gen consoles or PC. What are the odds the entire dev team broke out and ran to protesters downtown away from crunch? If they delay game in gold status which shouldn't be delayed in the first place then what else they aren't telling us?

My guess is that either they don't want bugs to do PR damage to the brand/company on release date and/or the console patch would take too fucking long to certify to be ready by the planned date.

Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
For me, this is good and bad. I can now dedicate more time to Yakuza: Like A Dragon. On the other hand, CP2077 was supposed to be one of the first PS5 games that I would play.

Looks like I gotta revoke my vacation request and move it back. I was combining the whole week of Thanksgiving so I'd have a full ten days off to play it (and Watch Dogs Legion+AC:Valhalla if Cyberpunk sucks, one of them is bound to be enjoyable).

who tf takes a day off to play video games
I have learned that a lot of people do.

Witcher 3 was also somewhat rushed and had to cut significant portions of previously considered content (e.g. the whole plague subplot with Iorveth and the Wild Hunt invasion of Novigrad).
Somewhat true but still had enough content to chug through. Even then, TW3 suffered the fate of STALKER: Тень Чернобыля, when the game was fueled with dlcs, addons and a dozen of FNV JSawyer Edition tier patching (big as my erect cock list of changes with half of it breaking things). Cyberpunk 2077 is confirmed but be shorter without 100% confirming it's just the main quest being shorter.

It's stupid, but we have a stupid year with Corona and lockdowns.

I guess that's good for Yakuza 7.

My main gripes with TW3's cut content though are in regards to...
Svanrige in Skellige and with Radovid, since the endings in which they reign are basically fail states. I really have my doubts that CDPR would mess this up or that they'd think that nobody would pick either of the two as to not warrant their own quests in their favor. Then again, main plot was also a clusterfuck.

There goes my downward spiralling trust in CDPR.

"We've learned from TW3's development and are no longer amateurs in the AAA sphere so Cyberpunk's creation will be smooth!"

"Don't worry guys, no crunching our workers this time around!"

"Releasing April! Whoops, how about September. Uhhh, how about November? Shit, are you guys still on for December?"

If you delay three times, your game better be a transcendent experience.
