Would you say drums are not an instrument? They purely provide percussion after all, just like a rapper.

Drums are the instrument indeed, but how many rappers can play them or program anything more interesting that the simplest beat pattern? Don't be mistaken, playing drums in not easy at all as it requires supreme limb independence.

I was referring to their voice and speech as percussive instrument, which it is. Singing is melody and percussion, rap is focused on the latter. Of course the most important part is the rhyme scheme and its delivery (sadly lacking in modern rap), which you could argue is mostly rhythmic poetry, but to deny rap as musical genre is mostly a sign of your bias, rather than any rational reasoning.

Sure the complexity in rap is shifted from the instrumental to the verse and fitting it on the bars, but it is still very much music.

But how can one know if the Codex approves when it has become so divided and toxic?

I can cover the expense from the CDPR shares, though I'm not convinced if I want to.
The only reason to do it is convenience as it's sure the game is going to be buggy as fuck and have a 50GB day 1 patch.

As an additional observation, since we've already touched on this kinda gruesome topic, I also don't get why so many NPCs are shown to have unilateral prosthetics, that only makes sense in the case of accidental trauma. Otherwise, if you're talking about "performance enhancement", why would someone only replace their left arm? In all fairness to CDPR, Eidos Montreal made a similar mistake with their NPC design, though their notion of augmentation as a widespread fashion trend was shaky ground to begin with.

People have already forgotten that in DA:I they could select the color of the border of their iris, and that was a 3rd person game.

Also it read "RPG" on its box. The difference with CP77 is that no one remembers DA:I or talks about it. The company that made it died after its next game.

I bet CP77 will outdo Witcher 3 and will be genre defining for another 5 years at least. Now that I've unleashed a wave of butthurt I'll sit back and enjoy.
