Also any local Krauts can tell us if anything of worth was said there?

Don't think that was anything new. Brief introduction of the setting, focus on immersion / no loading breaks, the whole gender thing is referenced of course, and in the end they talk about about the choices and consequences.

Oh, and they said that the Witcher Netflix series is stylistically based on CDPR's games. I'm sure that Mr. Sapkowski is thrilled to hear that (the books are not mentioned).

Black metal has instruments in it

Har har, they don't call it black metal for nothing.

The actual Scarface GTA clone game was better than Vice City. I liked having to distribute drugs and manage fronts. And I liked customising my cokehead mansion.

It looks alright, but the best parts of Vice City was just driving around and the music. The arcade style gamplay of the first two games is much more fun than the wannabe movie shit, and being a movie license game that must be heavy into movie larping.

The licensed radio music was top notch, too.

Scarface strategy game on psp is also not getting enough love and recognition.

By the way, Tony Montana is the ultimate fixer, speaking in Cyberpunk 2020 terms.

Rap is not music. Rap is people talking over stolen samples.
Are you one of those people who says rap isn't music but likes black metal?
This is the Codex, after all.

Biting commentary on black metal in the form of a youtube video
What kind of black metal do you listen to?

On the topic of cp2077's music, I hope the stuff we've been hearing is the music the corporations are funding and pushing, while edgerunners tend to listen to good old chromatic rock. Although if they secretly hired Battle Beast to do a few songs like Neuromancer or Machine Revolution, I'd be fine with that.

Even if we consider a good rap - if it exists at all - it would be a rhythmic poetry at best, still not music. And I don't even want to classify this mulignan degeneracy with lyrics like "her shit on my nigger dick"

It's rhythmic poetry overlaid on music???

PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath
Talking is still not singing.

Corporations pushing for rap is just another way for them to fuck with whites. Never forget that you are scheduled for genocide.

Hip Hop exists since over four decades now. This genocide seems to be awfully ineffective.

It's true that blacks have been trying to destroy white Christian society for decades with their blues and jazz music, with songs about violence, drinking, and about "shaking that thing", leading astray good white men and women.

Forget listening to black music - playing videogames is enough degeneracy by itself. Deceiving the senses with frivolous images and sounds instead of reading the Gospels.

To every satanic verse of black music, calling us to sinful thoughts or deeds, we should oppose a verse of the Book of Psalms.

True Christians must demand that CP77 is thoroughly vetted for immoral degeneracy, at the very least all music is replaced with church hymns, and all black people are changed to white, because the sight of black people distracts a good Christian from elevating his soul. God has created us in His image, so why would we want to see black people?

They say: "V can be male, female or transgender". Then they talk about how that is provocative in conservative/catholic Poland.
Z-grade fat trolling this is. CDPR gloats about provocation like a high school bully because they know polish government is no Saudi Arabia and won't answer to provocation with shutting down all activity and throwing Marcin from a skyscraper, since their company is a valuable source of reputational and financial capital for Poland. And so, CP2077 needs to be what it is to not flop and the profits high. "Free" market, everyone.

The song itself isn't the best but it's pretty obvious to see some people are hating on it for reasons other than its artistic value.

Track is absolutely fine, lyrics are dope, especially El nails the dysopian feeling. And yet, people here call RTJ zoomer rap, which is like calling Deep Purple an Imagine Dragons knock-off.

Codexer's hate it in equal parts racisim and ignorance to the genre.

Actually, Codex hates it because it's shit
I've never been much into rap but in the late 90's, early 2000's we a had "significant" hip-hop scene here in tugalândia
The scene was popular enough to completely replace foreign hip-pop music, so people back then (and even now) when they say they like hip-hop, they are most of the times specifically talking about portuguese hip-hop

From that I've listened back then, what I think this type of music should be about is:
-good prose and lyrics that say something truthful or at least interesting
-the "beat" should be rhythmically pleasent but can't in anyway detract from the above

By those metrics these songs suck dick
The lyrics can barely be heard because the dumbfucks are using auto-tune retardation to muffle their shit lyrics
And the tune itself IS zoomer noise that completely distracts from the above (then again that might be a good thing since the above is already shit)

Hearing this immediately made think about a popular song from Sam The Kid, where he calls rappers (and musicians in general) like this nothing more than "Karaoke Poets"
In fact alot of parts from that song apply not only to shit musicians and "artisits" like this, but even these type of game devs CDPR have become:

They want to be international but are stuck here in the country
And are never original, they are New York or Paris

I always was D. Diniz
You are where there's more fame and profit
And if there's more money you take it
And if there's a dame with a good rack
Do you think that gives you integrety?

...

Contracts are signed with conditions you don't agree with
And the suits are thankful for the slaves that fat them up
There's no credibility in your performance

...

Because there's an identity you're all identical
You're all but beggars that sold themselves for pennies

...

You never prepare yourselves and never shut up with your repertoire
Yours isn't contemporary it's a magazine read in the clinc

Obviously this being a direct translation you're missing on the fun of the lyrics.
