That's true, I don't think even the devs themselves have an idea what this game is. Sometimes they refer it as an RPG, sometimes as action adventure game.

It's ok, this game is going to have a 101 metacritic score and around a gazillion GOTYs and sell like hotcakes because there is no other game to play on next gen consoles anyway, BUT, like it happened with Dragon Age Inquisition and Witcher 3, Starfield is going to arrive a year later and show everyone how a proper next gen AAA crpg is done.

There are street races and some sort of fight club. Not sure about cards, but I think pool might be in?

- how is exploration going to work? hopefully none of witcher 3's quest markers, cookie trails, etc. Maybe being able to turn off compass at higher difficulty.

I don't recall if you can turn the option off, but it looks like Witcher 3's markers.

I don't recall if you can turn the option off, but it looks like Witcher 3's markers.

I believe it was confirmed that you can disable most of the HUD individually, however quest markers were not an option.

I agree. I would prefer if it was called Role Playing Sim though you could also argue that you're not just limited to RPGs merging with Simulation you can do it with many genres.
The term was originally coined because the first of its kind Space Rogue by Origin Systems was actually a Space Flight Simulator with heavy RPG mechanics (basically space ultima)
The problem is that the origins guys used the term for every game they put out that had any sort of RPG and Simulation elements and so the term stuck even though nearly all the games that claim to be "Immersive Sims" are nothing like Space Rogue.
(*Correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the impression Space Rogue coined the term and was the first of its kind).
