I don't know, it seems like a display of poor taste to me. The genitals thing I mean.

I haven't been keeping up on this game, is it looking any better now that we're close to release?
I might get it if it's really a AAA cyberpunk RPG, instead of GTA meets Far Cry, which is the impression I got the last time I saw gameplay.

If it's GTA meets Far Cry then I could probably somewhat enjoy it for what it is. In reality it won't be nearly as good as either, and I'm not either game's biggest fan anyway.

It is a reminder that we are all humans and nature things in the cyber apocalypse. It has a deep meaning.
We don't customize our genitals irl, though. The nudity of the PC could be used in an appropriate moment to show that, beneath all the augmentations and badassery, s/he's still human, but that went out the window.

It's like you people never played any Witcher.

CD Projekt makes games for storyfags. Combat is secondary and everything else is a minigame. This will be the same.
Game without story is like potato without baking. You can eat it raw, but why?

Here's a question - why exactly do we need to customize our genitals?

I guess it's an attempt to be inclusive and gender positive, which backfired spectacularly as CDPR has now been deemed the most transphobic company of all time by internet retards.

This is the worst possible way to be inclusive, though. It's "Dumbledore is actually gay" in video game form. I liked that tranny with the huge dick poster much better.

How is it the worst way? To my knowledge is the first and only game that allows you to play an actual tranny. I also don't understand your comparison. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the author just retcon him into being gay? What's that got to do with anything?

Because it's just there. My point with the Dumbledore thing is that nobody acknowledges that in the text itself, and that I very much doubt someone will comment on your huge futa cock in-game. The character creator is still meta-textual, just like Rowling's stupid, stupid tweets. There are certain things that come with being non-straight or non-cis that you can't really get around irl, nobody reacting or having an opinion of your tranny-ness in-game is not good representation because it doesn't actually represent real life, it's a fantasy where everyone is treated the same regardless of who they are.

Any evidence of at least a mid-sized pair of tits in this entire game yet?
So far I think I've only seen 2 different female body models in any of the footage, the super roided-out muscle monster thing and the basic female model everybody else has which all have the same fairly small sized rack.

Seems very in-theme for a game set in the Cyberpunk universe.
What Anachronox, Blade Runner, E.Y.E., System Shock and all the Desu Ex and Shadowrun games were really missing to become TRU CYBERPUNK was customizing genitals, true.

Lacrymas i agree with you,i never liked the over sexualisation in their games. It is really weird and cringe. Witcher3 did well for being able to ignore it,the only shitty part was when you played as ciri and wanted to suck off the village idiot.
