Platform: Windows PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One

Rating Category:

Content Descriptors: Partial Nudity, Sexual Themes, Violence

Other:

Rating Summary: This is a fighting game in which players engage in martial arts battles against a large cast of characters. Players mostly punch and kick opponents during fast-paced rounds of combat. Some fighters use special attacks involving swords, throwing weapons, or magic; matches are accompanied by battle cries and exaggerated impact effects. Cutscenes also depict instances of violence, such as characters getting struck down with swords in slow motion. Most female fighters are dressed in revealing outfits (large amounts of cleavage); their breasts frequently jiggle while standing or fighting. Some bikini-style costumes (with narrow strips of cloth) barely cover fighters' bodies, exposing large amounts of breasts/buttocks; one hologram-like figure appears to be nude—though her reflective skin obscures any discernible details (i.e., nipples or genitalia). In some sequences, players have the ability to zoom in on female fighters' cleavage and/or posterior and take pictures.

Love the summary description. It's very possible, since Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires are coming on PC. Probably Tecmo/Koei saw the number of buyers and said why not ?

When asked about it Yosuke Hayashi, on of the dev members, made a detailed speech about the abilities of new engine and what it can render.

I wouldn't be too enthusiastic. Sure, your theory is fine and dandy but ESRB is well known for messing-up game platforms.

When? Last time I saw an ESRB rating for a system it wasn't on the publisher confirmed they intentionally did it so they could port it latter if they wanted without paying the ESRB again.

ESRB is also not the only source anyways, a retail listing popped up a bit ago too.

I remember some threads on /v/ hyping some port, which later turned out to be fakes. Can't remember which games they were though since there are many fake confirmation of ports threads on /v/.

Did they have real links to the ESRB's website? You can fake webpage screenshots without any tools beyond a normal, unmodified, internet browser. For basic modifications you don't even need to know HTML.

Fuck yes!

http://www.incgamers.com/2014/12/dead-or-alive-5-last-round-confirmed-for-steam-release

Team Ninja’s fighter will be coming to Steam after all according to these new visuals.

There were rumours that Dead or Alive 5 Last Round might make it onto Steam for the PC and today we have confirmation that PC gamers will be able to enjoy the latest instalment in the fighter series.

A new trailer released today shows the Steam logo at the end of the video so we assume that the Steam version will be releasing around the same time as the console version which is 20 February.

There was an ESRB rating for the game last month for the PC version but this now appears to confirm the Steam release.

Update Tecmo has now confirmed to us that the game will be released on Steam at the same time as the console versions and will be available for pre-order on Steam at some point in the future.

Update Update The Steam page is now up, but contains the baffling news that the PC version will get the online modes patched in later.

Curious that this already got a Steam page while Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires doesn't, even though that's coming out next month.

They have a pre-order reward promotion going where depending on how many pre-orders they get, we'll get 1, 2 or 3 additional bonus costume packs and so far we've reached reward 1(which is ninja outfits for hayate, ryu and ayane).

Having all three reward packs + 10 percent off promotion makes this a better deal than on the consoles(sans having to wait to online to be patched in).

Why not just "play" some Illusion game instead.
