Do you delete old topics? When searching I couldn't find an old topic about tim cain's music and design company careers where I think he posted. And I also searched for Locomotion, Chris Sawyer's newest game, because I remember somebody making a topic about, it but it too seemed gone.

When searching in the site feedback forum I couldn't find any topics about this, but I seem to remember one. Maybe it to is gone. Or my search skills suck.

No topics should be deleted. Even the stupid ones just go to retardo land.

No, the #sorcerers IRC stalking thread still hasn't been seen after its glorious moment in the soft glow of the monitor. Either it's in a SUPER SEKRIT moderator forum, or someone actually axed it.

Calis said at one time the search tables got corrupted over here and he hadn't rebuilt them. That could be why you're not finding what you'd thought.

In my experience, phpBB's search function has always been complete shit anyways. But no, we try not to delete any threads, just move them. The only threads that are likely to get deleted are redundant news posts (when two staff members post the same news item roughly simultaneously and one has to go).

Behind you.
I was trying to find that thread the other day about the plot to that Superman where Lex Luthor was an FBI agent from Krypton. I was trying to show it to EvoG, but I never could find it.

What I love about COdex is that moronic/retard threads got dumped in Retardo Land. Very inventive and fun to watch.

So, I guess there should be some kind of a dump for old topics.

I agree, there should be somewhere for threads that are interesting or funny, or that have played an important role in shaping the codex.

Like Semi-coherant land, or not quite-retardo land.

That might be too much of a judgement call, no? This is especially the case when one considers that key topics come of often.

Not really inventive. I saw it first in the archives of stupidity in old vault13.net That was about 5 years ago, and I think they might have nicked it from SomethingAwful.

True enough, but i was thinking more of those rare threads that pop up every now and then, though admittedly, i cant really think of one off the top of my head.

But the difference between SA and here is that even if you repeatedly post stuff that gets sent to retardo land, your not banned.

If your threads get sent to the gas chamber over at SA you can pretty much kiss your arse goodbye.

(Though i did notice that atleast one lad was banned here, i was looking through the thread Exitium/Sol Invictus made about VD, So how do you do it VD, or something like that, and there was one guy calling everyone a fag, it was strange to see a "banned" Avatar.)

Well, there already is. It's the back pages of each forum's index.
