POE up to 2.0 was effectively real D3 then it went into zoom zoom territory fucking up gameplay.

yeah especially since it uses actually D2 under new graphics. So some small mods can outright work day 1 while big overhauls like Path of Diablo or Median will need a lot of rework done. Moreover developers claim that shitload of hardcoded previously stuff will be now in data files available to modding.

Path of Diablo is basically D2 with map system. Played it 2 months ago with friend and it was pretty good.

They're a slight step above that. Look at Destiny, that game went to absolute shit content-wise when Bungie went independent, thereby losing access to VV and High Moon. Pretty much every release of theirs since then has been stuff intended for Destiny 3 retrofitted into $40 expansion packs with another two on the way.

Based on what I've seen out of Bungie over the years, I have the suspicion their "support studios" are far more competent than anyone really expects.

So far from the short gameplay video alone they have censored the assassin ass, Andariels ass, and corrupted rogues ass. Where will it end? Clearly somebody at Blizzard hates ass.
