I don't want to spoil myself, someone please watch the stream and tell me why it's going to be shit before I get any more hyped.

I just checked in on that Cohh Carnage stream and his reactions to the race theories cracked me up, this is already a top game in my view.

The non-linearity seems pretty impressive. He wandered into the harbor and talked to the union boss before ever reporting into the station, so when the boss brought up his missing gun he was unprepared and ended up having a fucking mental breakdown in the boss' office.

I love all the little idle animations of people tapping fingers on desks and twirling in chairs. Add so much character.

Also bonus points for giving the crime scene kids the chaviest, most annoying accents.

Given the political leanings of the guy who's money they managed to get, I'm quite surprised tho.

Whose money did they get? Whenever I’ve tried to pump them for information about the funding they go dead serious and say “we do not talk about the funding.” Or else they tell that story about Dolph Lundgren’s Ferrari. Made me wonder a bit.

this game is gonna get a couple of angry articles from kotaku/polygon for sure, holy shit this is hilarious

take my money ZA/UM

Then somebody will point out that Measurehead was designed and voiced by a couple of Moroccans and a Nigerian and they’ll be even more confused.

Doubt the name says anything to you. Just the 6th richest guy in Estonia who also controls majority of the local media.

But on the other hand, wouldn't have thought anyone else funding it either. As someone who works on the institutional side of it locally, would have zero interest in such a niche shit & unproven team (wouldn't be able to shill it to ultimate decisionmakers anyway). That dude is a bit more eclectic with some of his investments at least.

Is the latest consensus that Disco Disco is gonna be gud? I am getting kinda tired of modding Skyrim, and I got some free time coming up, so I am thinking Sekiro + Disco Disco.

I like how Kim similarly "fails" like the protagonist and every other person alive. He also sometimes get caught up in his own thoughts and as a result says weird things (he kind of blurts out that one of the boot prints at the crime scene may have belonged to a drummer, which sort of makes sense but is also ridiculous) and fails to shoot the corpse down. Was worried that he would just be a boring straight man to the main character but no. What a cool cop - nice guy, too.
