We'll start shipping things as soon as next week and are hoping to have all goods out of the door in the next couple of weeks.

Shipping will happen in batches so if we have your details now, you'll be included in the first batch.
Thank you, Larian.

And so you don't think I'm going too soft on you
Some companions will be patched in after release because they are not 100% in yet.
 Nice "polish" job. Looks like I'm probably going to have to wait longer to play this after all.

Wasn't really a "I'm out of money!" scenario, but "I already spent too much money on Kickstarter and saw nothing, better slow down."

Even finnatially speaking it was a better deal... those D:OS CE boxes are limited, with a cute KS backer "thank you" and already sold out, while W2's CE is still on sale... guess which one will be worth a lot and be impossible to find after release? :(

I doubt they'll take more than a fucking year to add a proper difficulty setting with a unofficial mod to his own game, like someone did...

It's a shame they didn't provide any mechanism for upgrading your pledge, like inXile and Obsidian did.

Did you donate to the Codex fundraiser? We're getting the CE box as part of our reward I believe, and I also seem to remember something about DU doing a raffle at some point.

EDIT: Not quite the same as simply upgrading your pledge, of course. :P

Yeah, we're supposed to get two boxes, I believe. One for the raffle winner, and one for highest contributing :smug: (though I did have help with that)

Also, now that I'm looking at the promised campaign rewards, it looks like people who contributed $100+ to the fundraiser are also supposed to get an (ordinary, non-CE) physical copy of the game + stuff like posters/t-shirts at higher levels? http://www.rpgcodex.net/forums/inde...-box-copies-available-raffles-and-more.82598/

I wonder if Larian remembers about that.

I loved the imps folowing and annoying you, but they could make it more subtle... like stylize the names, instead of just pasting them. Like, why use "DarkUnderlord" with no space between the words? They could name it "Dark Imp Underlord" or something, that would feel more natural and yet all the codexers would notice it...

Like, no offense Bee, but yours is the one that stands out the most. IMHO, it would work better as "Crooked Imp", "Crooked B." or whatever...
Oh, just saw this. The names are "per user wishes, as long as not too zany", so Mindx2 had to change his name once again, poor guy. evdk was deemed suitable, the rest as well. This was ok'd by both parties.

Pretty sure they do, but if not, nothing's stopping me from reminding them. What I do wonder, though, is the logistics involved here. Will the user keys be in boxes? If so, the high-contributing Codexians are shit out of luck because, you know. Shipping.

Doubt that'll be the case though, Larian don't strike me as THAT unaware.

Oh yeah, I had competently forgotten about that! I didn't donate enough for the CE, but Temaperacl was a massive bro and donated in my name.

Only two? Shouldn't there be one for everyone that pledged more than $100? :|

That was a personal project and as the guy says himself "balancing is literally never finished."

Meanwhile this is unfinished content that would have been cut a long time ago by a competent studio.

Yeah, our $100+ backers are supposed to get non-signed boxes. Plus we get a signed box for the raffle.
Yeah. Supposedly top donor gets a signed box too, I just wonder if they remembered that. Seemed so. Not that it'd break my back, but it'd be an awesome thing to have as a memory stomping over the pathetic Watch fundraiser and stuffies.

Edit: Does the livestream show their stuff? I didn't have time to watch it yet :(

So we getting this next week or not? tired of having my saves broken with every update.
Physical copies ship next week, it won't unlock on Steam until the 30th. Good ol' digital rights management.

(I'm being semi-sincere, the disc copy is weeks behind the current build you can play right now)

So balancing a single-player game is a personal project, that can take years to happen? Guess you'll have to wait a lot to play PoE then...

No, it would be sold as a DLC just three months after release.

In his Iron Tower interview, Josh said this wouldn't be the case.

No, it would be sold as a DLC just three months after release.
I said competent.

Yeah I won't be playing Original Sin until about three months after release, even though I own it now. I can't possibly imagine that it's a fully functional game right now. After a few patches and some work it might really be worth it.

So the key is for the boxed game, or is it actually a key + a box?
