Only a few days left... I have been stron and resisted the urge to play it during alpha/beta but its getting harder and harder :)

Just start the game to get used to the chargen then there's a tutorial dungeon right near the start of the game to enjoy. Get used to the combat, exploring, opening containers, some minor crafting, etc.

The hard part is stopping AFTER that.

Do you have a source on that? Had a look around the official forums as well as twitter but couldn't find any mention of it

Interesting. Question is if it's only the polish version it could just be that their polish distributors are slow as fuck with the translation. But if all CE has been delayed to mid July, does it mean they havent cancelled the order for the dice? I was really looking forward to those dice.

Since optical drives and CDs and DVDs are essentially a dead medium I found all the rage about the steam activation a bit silly. Don't get me wrong DRM free is of course incline but being tied to an online account with a company that no longer exists is not going be the limiting factor for most people when it comes to steam vs optical media.

A new patch has been released. This should likely be the final one until the full game is released.

http://steamcommunity.com/gid/103582791433957212/announcements/detail/1658762991420390159

Highlights: You can now enable 360 degree camera rotation from the Options > Game menu. Also, there's now a brand new camera toggle button (b) that switches the perspective from isometric to top-down. This gives you a very useful way to see angles, aim shots better, and move around with better precision, to help avoid surfaces (oh, and those have been improved as well - ones which are too small vanish on their own, so hopefully no more getting caught by tiny invisible surfaces).

Time to play with Friends! Live QA stream! And well done Belgium!

The small hazards and aiming problem were really troublesome some times. I'm glad they seem to have worked that out. I really want to try it out but I feel like I've played enough until the release which is less than two weeks now. Even after playing for 40 hours, I still want to play it out to the end. Not even close to being burnt out which I was worried would happen.

A couple of quick questions. Does playing with another person enrich your playthrough or would you rather play solo? Why?

That remains to be seen. I've got a partner lined up for the first playthrough though. We'll be sitting in the same room when we play and talking things out, so I'm not too worried about different paces.

I always prefer to play games solo if possible, because when someone else enters gameplay, you cannot enjoy the game at your own pace.

I've played the beta alone and also tried it with a couple of friends. This game is good solo but it really shines in coop : you shouldn't deprive yourself of that. ;)

I thought the graphical assets were not designed for that? Anyone tried this? How does it look?

I did it before this patch. You could change it in a config file. Basically how you would expect. What is the normal angle and perspective is filled with assets, decorations, and such. The rest looks empty, barren.
Example taken from the Larian Forum.

maybe delayed because additional VO work ?

I don't know who is publisher in poland but biggest ones meaning CD project cenega often do full localization for their releases and it is not like Divinity needs to be released right away because their shareholders will be screaming

yeah looks like Voice added recently (or still recording ??) makes this delay. Poor planing from Larian.

Still i can't wait for game. Also this means that GOG version will have PL language as an option (this happened with every PL version CD project released that are on gog.com)

I love how obviously flustered he is with the retarded questions. :)
