new patch, gentletrannies. highlights include uw stat, spells and item fixes and all new pretender creation. oh yeah and there can now be a quarter million units in the game at a time, up from 160k.

How do the patch days work out with llamaserver? Do we have to time patching with it, or are the versions somewhat cross-compatible?

We still play 4.14. All your other saved sessions, both SP and pbem, are currently played by the old version rules. Only new sessions will be using 4.16 features.

Edit: There is no way to update ongoing sessions.

Oh yeah, now I remember, we actually had this kind of situation in my previous game: someone submitted their turn played on old version and llama hosted it with the new. Thing is he used all his gold to buy some units that were cheaper in the old version and it resulted in some vague "Player X might be cheating!" ingame message being sent to everyone.

What? I never submitted my turn. In fact, I was just finishing it and thought that my game was broken or there was some stupid event I missed.

But it's not. It's pure bullshit, actually. Chilans now cost me 100 instead of 75 and Ah Itz costs 115 instead of 85. YOU CAN'T CHANGE THE RULES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GAME! What the actual fuck?

Previously the game never updated ongoing sessions. It's just... fuck.
