Bullshit. DA was a step in the right direction and offered a glimmer of hope for the future of the industry.
The fuck?
It was party based and had slightly tactical combat compared to all the shooters which is eons ahead of anything Bioware has done recently. Granted these elements are the only remnants of the BG spiritual successor that was promised, but showing that this kind of gameplay can be profitable would have been good for the industry. Of course it's still a fucking awful game, and it seems like the message they've picked up is that the 3 million sales and ocean of reviewer jizm indicates that they haven't streamlined it enough.

Looking at the Bioware forums its pretty obvious the Biofans dont care about things like graphics, combat, skill systems, emote based dialogs and other unimportant things like that as long as dating is in.
