Yep, he pulled that one off 3-4 years ago when I got into my first Volly argument when I asked him why he considered NWN OC to be the best RPG at that time.
Monitoring his posting from that time on and I noticed he hardly ever backs his opinions with arguments. Instead he states them as facts and/or pulls the old the old "search function".
Now I can comiserate a little. I also see the same arguments popping up all the time and I can't be bothered to repeat myself ad nauseam. But then either keep out of the discussions, make text files that you can re-post whenever the discussion pops up again or be at least commited enough to repeat yourself every other year or so or at least give some notes if you're too lazy to write a real text.
Volly hardly ever gives more than a note and even then only if the discussion drags on.
Made me lose my respect for him. True story.
