"C'mon Volly, surely you can see that Bioware have just a few character archetypes t"

Come on, moron. There are only a handful of character archetypes to begin with. FFS

Come on, fuckwit. There are more than a handful. Jung said of archetypes: "There are as many archetypes as there are typical situations in life." So you're just a simpleton. I suppose that comes from being a Biofag who accepts that 10 archetypes in Bioware game = awesomeness coz it matches all 10 types of people you meet in reality.

:retarded:

Why use archetypes anyway? Why not make elaborate multi-faceted characters? Why not read the rest of what I wrote about your beloved Bioware focusing on this type of game without making compelling characters?

Stop the shit, start the truth.

Surely you don't expect Bioware to employ writers or something, right?

I actually found the character writing in DA to be decent overall (certainly comparable to BG2 at least). It was the horribly designed gameworld, plot, and repetitive combat that dragged the game down.

It's not always so obvious though. It took a while for me to realize that Morrigan was Viconia from Baldur's Gate. They used a different voice actor which is unfortunate actually. And they gave her a different back-story. Personality = identical, however.

You didn't realise that, you made it up to reassure yourself. Bioware have many similar characters, but these two were only similar in their "dark" background. Apart from both showing a piece of evil their personalities isn't alike.
