"Why do you care so much volo? Why do you take it to be your utmost formal ethical duty to correct everyone on rpgcodex about all the tiny little details they may exagerate or falsify about Bioware? Do you really worship these shitty games that much? What do they bring into your life? Meaning? Do you ever ask any questions about why you do things? Why are things the way they are? Why are you such a tard?"

I loathe myths, lies, and innuendos. They must be stopped.

This myth is laughable that has no numbers to back it up except from like a month after ME2's release. ME2 and DA have sold around the same amount of units give or take a few.

Thank you for confirming the broader point that dumbing shit down doesn't actually increase sales.

It looks like they've toned down the blood splatter.

I just wonder if it's possible to romance Baraka.

Gota love the casualisation of Bioware:

http://n4g.com/news/641963/dragon-age-2 ... ge-emerged

Wow not only does it look dull, but even the graphics look outdated and I just can't wait to see how will it compare to the Witcher 2 which look gorgeous to me. Not to mention that I am interested in "journalists" comments on the graphics, since it is so important in todays gaming.

Most "journalists" will give The Witcher a 8,and DA2 a10,you don't mess with EA,and Microsoft.
Calculate the marketing coin that EA gives for Bioware,it will be ''The RPG of the decade"

That's exactly the reason why I bothered to mention them. I just want to see how much of a hypocrists they are.

I dont get it, why are they making action games, just a glance at the first pages topics make me realize the crowd dont want an action game, they want a spin off of 3D sex villa with blades and armor.Omg the new lady hawke looks so pretty, i so cant wait to customize mine ! will we have F/F romance ? Will we romance flemeth? etc etc..

Not really, since I think that Origins was a bit niche in its overall presentation. You were hit pretty early on with a lot of statistics, and I think there were number of people who were a little turned off by that element of the game.

Is he trying to be funny? World of Warcraft has more "statistics" than Dragon Age. Lets tally up the number of 12 year olds who were turned off by WoW's niche presentation.

Bioware should stop kidding themselves and cater to their real market.

Ass Effect and Dragon Anus would sell millions of copies and finally quiet down all the whining on bioware forums.

It is the probably most frightening forum Ive ever seen
Chest hair,dog romances,Flemeth romances.
The demographic that has a clear goal on proving the poster above wrong, rather than having some impact, not that anyone can have impact on Bioware.
The silliness is beaten only by the ME appreciation threads. The discussions over Tali`s virginity are hilarious.

Makes me wonder why they ever stopped making Leisure Suit Larry games. At least the exploits of Larry were far more entertaining and believable.

Looks better to me. DA:O was utter trash but now there is at least a chance of getting a semi-fun Nighty-Nine Nights/Dynasty Warriors style action game.

Wow, what great writing on display in that video!

Anime hero: "your son is dead"

Mom: "OMFG blah blah blah"

Anime hero response options:

1) He died bravely
2) There is no time to mourn
3) Your son was an incredible pussy and if the grinch who stole Christmas hadn't got him I would have killed him myself

[Anime hero chooses #3]

Mom: Thank you for your concern, anime hero. If you really want to help avenge his death, you can deliver these 3 apples to Farmer John in <next_quest_location>

Bleh

At least the armor looks less stupid. Not that this matters since everyone will replace it with nude mods.

Did you read the interview? The Bio exec acknowledges that DA outsold ME2. Maybe you'd like to tell him off too, since he also believes that myth? And I suppose you do have numbers to support your claim?

The only numbers I've seen quoted are ones when ME2 was released for only a month and DA had been released for 4 months. It was DA = 3.2M, and ME2 at 2.5M or so. Not counting in the expansion (which I bet people are); the sales figures between the two games isn't that huge.

Show me proof otherwise that is current.

Agreed. This is one of the rare cases where "dumbing down" the combat makes it actually fun to play. Like Jimbob once posted, DA:O's combat wasn't brainless enough for stupid fun, nor was it particularly complex with its trash mobs. It was just boring.
