Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
The only hope one could realistically have is that it's going to be so bad it's funny. As in, "hahaha I can't believe they actually released a game with writing as horribad as this".

The dialog is horrible, even by Bioware standards.
All the dialogue is by Alexander Freed, who was the lead writer on TOR. He wrote the imperial agent storyline, which got a lot of praise for whatever reason, including here. :M

If anything, this looks more like an action rpg than Dragon Age 2 ever did. They keep rolling and dodging and shit. I won't judge it until I play it, but I'm going in with very low hopes on this one.

That storyline kept me playing when I hate MMOs, so obviously it has some merit, but it's more "good for an MMO" than "wow great RPG writing!"

I can't judge the comic either way, since I don't like/read comics.

We're talking about actual rolling around by pushing buttons. Not abilities or skills.

Why did they say there would be tactical combat on PC again? I looked at the videos and it's the same BS Dynasty Warriors kind of combat. I'm not playing this drek, not ever.
You can see some pausing in some of the E3 vids. But yeah, they're not exactly making it easy for us to find the stuff. I don't think there's any footage of it being properly demonstrated.

I wouldn't say that, they showed it almost a year ago:

Relevant part around 4:25.

And to find it I just searched for "dragon age inquisition tactical view" on YouTube and it was the first thing that popped up.

I especially like the guy saying Hallelujah at 4:36 you can hear the fatness in his voice.

What is that woman in the middle wearing?

And is it just the lighting, or does that woman on the left have really hairy arms?

The God-Child stuff was literally the only interesting thing in Dragon Age absolutely boring-ass lore and setting, I'm not saying I'm disappointed because disappointment implies expectations and I had none, but gg fucking the only interesting plot point you created in 2 games, Bioware!

DAI doesn't have that. The rolling you see is the equivalent of DA2's evade talent. They figured the other classes should have something equivalent.

Dialogue seems kinda nice, they only showed it a little bit at the start but there was no renegade or paragon type of stuff. Game looks pretty good but a little plasticky or something. When they paused the game right when the warrior was about to invoke an ability it looked pretty good.

The Dragon fight looked a little bit like the fight in DA2 where after a while the Dragon goes up and screams and sends waves of wyverns or something. I loved how when they took both of its arms its front section went down like he is not able to balance himself because of its arm, I hope that really happens and its not just clipping of an alpha or something.
