I think it was confirmed to come to consoles a while ago.

Just not that it would be delayed and released with those versions.

In other news, EA has recently reported enormous financial losses for the fourth quarter of 2008.
See the connection between these two events?

What a debacle.

So much for the promised land PC Exclusive spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate we were promised all those years ago when it was first announced.

I'll retain a tiny shred of optimism based on the fact it did spend a lot of time being developed solely for PC so hopefully the final product won't be too consolised but that's it.

Truely EA sucks...I understand they're a business and have to make profit but the utter contempt they continuously treat their customers with beggars belief.

In your nightmare.
Bu-hu-hu - EA is to blame.
It wouldn't surprise me at all if this was biowhore's idea to save some marketing money. EA could be greedy.. but biowhore is greedy 10x more than EA.

Your ignore list.
Yes, EA is the reason Bioware released Kotor, Jade Empire and Mass Effect for consoles, because EA has a time machine in their secret basement that can send electronic signals back in time. So back in 2003 bioware already knew EA would buy them in the future and unless they released those games for consoles the repercussion in the future would be most dire.

Not surprising. I lost all hope for this game ages ago.

Bioware cushioned the 'its for consoles too' announcement by saying the PC would get it first. Now we don't. I'm not surprised, I knew this sort of shit would happen ever since EA took over. This hasn't been delayed for developmental reasons, its to balance EA's books.

During its call with investors, Electronic Arts CEO John Rictiello said that the delay was due to marketing, but that BioWare will continue to polish the PC release.

Right before Christmas, where for two to ten months it will be an XboX 360 exclusive.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

All over something as blaisse as this.

Besides, EA is treating customers fine. Customers are who treat companies like shit. EA owes you NOTHING.

EA and their ilk have made games shorter, stupider and more expensive; they also work to kill PC as a viable platform.

They might not owe me anything; but I owe them some four letter words, some increased piracy numbers, and as much negative will I can muster-- all in the pitiful hope that it might have some effect, however miniscule, in making them go belly up as soon as possible.

That they are down 650 million dollars is fucking beautiful news.

And lets hope other Big Corporate Publishing whores like them are having similar difficulties.

"some increased piracy numbers"

Fuckin' theif. This is ana wesome wreason why PC gamers don't deserve exclusives. Just one of many. Mostly because PC fanatics are selfish, shitty, evil, pieces of shit, loser scum more than anyone else. Even Hitler is cooler.

Not too surprised. Wonder who really decided this though, Bioware or EA
