How is this an underwhelming year? For a mainstream AAA fag this should have been one of the best years ever, I dislike the majority of these games but just this year we had:

For once? The protagonists of DAO and DAII weren't magically chosen at all. Hawk was just a guy who fled the darkspawn invasion of Ferelden and then made it big in Kirkwall, and the DAO only did the gay warden blood ritual after proving xir worth after the origin scenario.
