I just think it's not very constructive to go after whoever you can find who worked on the game, because the people who decided to make a bad game will remain out of the line of fire. Sure, if individual devs say dumb shit on social media they're going to catch flak, but that's just a matter of a general gag order when signing contracts.

BioWare should really be taking internally pitches from staff on future project instead of just doing the same two things over and over, move away from large releases that take years to develop, and focus on relatively smaller titles. Like there’s maybe a possibility scenario where BioWare couldn’t been the ones to do NEO Scavenger, and with studio backing something like NEO Scavenger even while still staying a little low budget game could’ve been bigger.

current bioware, just like most of bigger studios, would benefit the most from going back to frat culture. devs need a safe, even if harsh, environment to discuss ideas. a potential humiliating sensitivity training, or total ostracism in extreme cases even, awaiting these who are "wrong" is a great way to silence anyone outside the ideological bubble, and this is what modern gamedev is.

it's okay to to have racist hiring policy, we hate our customers and we won't apologize for our hate spewing art director - buy our game mysogonist bigots and also fuck you white male custmers => Plz don't be cruel that our games fucking dogshit.. :D

Don't forget these companies will have mercilessly sacking and publicly crucifying anyone that doesn't share their warped world views for close to a decade, it's great to finally see them exposed and hopefully out of work.

The funny thing is that for years they tried to force the left shift until they finally overdid it and now players are fed up.
It doesn't look like this will be just a temporary blip so either they will have to make good games to be able to push DEI into them or abandon them completely.
That's a bit too optimistic of me, it's more likely that they will go bankrupt sooner. Ubishit is already first in line.
