Isn't the first order of business to distinguish your product from everything else?

No.
What you describe is what devs want to tell the publisher in order to get money. Sometimes, at least. Depends on the publisher, I think.

Well the website has been launched for the game.

I have to say that it looks crappy to me from what I can see.

I noticed "non-stop action" and "real time combat". Yep, sounds crappy.

The feature list doesn't really tell you anything outside of the same PR speak we always get with games now.

The screen shots looks crappy too I think, Im not a graphics guy, would much rather have gameplay and story but there is just something about the screens that doesn't look right. Almost too brightly colored or something.

Says to be released in winter 2008 so not very long to wait to find out how crappy this game is. DW Bradley made a couple of really good games before so I had hope that dungeon lords would be good....but we know how that turned out.

So my guess is the buggy unfinished game comes out in winter 2008. Definitely don't buy this one until reading reviews.

Yes a good point

However there is so few RPG's coming out that I keep my eye on all of them and wait for codexer opinions as to whether I buy or not.

I figured a game by DW Bradley would at least be worth a purchase after playing his Wizardy games and wizards and warriors (Not great but ok), so I bought dungeon lords the day it came out.....WOW
