http://gematsu.com/2016/06/god-war-rpg-systems-load-screensI don't want to escort a kid in a God of War game.
You seriously think that's going to last more than the tutorial?
It's either going to be
1: The kid dies/gets kidnapped, Kratos goes on rampage
2: Kratos dies/whatever, kid goes on rampage
While you’ll assume complete control of Kratos throughout the entire game, you’ll also be able to passively control his son, and both characters will grow and evolve. There is a single button dedicated to Kratos’ son, which changes depending on the context. His son will become an active participant in combat, traversal, exploration, and puzzle-solving as Kratos passes on his knowledge to his child. In the E3 demo, we saw Kratos teach his son how to fire a bow and hunt, which becomes second nature to him as you progress through the game.
“This game is about Kratos teaching his son how to be a god, and his son teaching Kratos how to be human again,” director Cory Barlog said.
The Warriors meets Metal Slug in Huntdown
By Tom Sykes 3
It's an '80s-inspired shooty arcade sidescroller.
Huntdown is little bit The Warriors, a little bit Escape From New York, and a lot bit Metal Slug. It's relevant to my interests, then, and I suspect yours if you've ever runned and gunned baddies in a two-dimensional world, and liked it. Here's the properly '80s E3 trailer:
"In the future, mighty gangs rule the streets as the police desperately lost control," Huntdown posits in slightly broken English. "Crime is king, and the authorities put their trust in hired guns to solve the problem." You're one of these hired guns: a bounty hunter who sets out to wipe out every gang leader, in this "hard-boiled arcade shooter" from two Swedish chaps.
Yes they mention phones and tablets a lot on the website, but it's just been announced for PC and consoles too. We can expect it sometime this year.
Over the past few years, Marvel Games' output has been primarily on mobile (Avengers Academy, Contest of Champions, Future Fight), on PC (Marvel Heroes) and for Disney Infinity and Lego games. Marvel fans haven't had their own Batman: Arkham equivalent. But with multiple Marvel console games in development, it sounds like that's changing.
Ong said there was a lot about Marvel Games' plans for consoles that he couldn't talk about. There are existing partnerships with Telltale Games, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Warner Bros.' TT Games to make titles based on Marvel's properties, but he indicated there's a lot more in the works, some of which we'll hear more about later this year.
Farming Simulator 17 joins the excitement of E3 2016 with its E3 Trailer!
The hit simulation from Giants Software has been a mainstay in the video game market for more than 3 years. The two previous versions of Farming Simulator have attracted almost 5 million players on consoles and PC worldwide. This huge community of players has been eagerly awaiting fresh news about Farming Simulator 17, which will launch simultaneously at the end of 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The game is being showcased this year at E3 2016 to unveil its new features: a new environment, new vehicles, a new animal to breed, and new gameplay mechanics that increase the game's richness and depth every year, but also to make it more accessible for both existing fans and new players.
