Sure, go ahead.zerotol said:Edit: Btw, Vince, the Arcanum thread on ITS, is it ok if I post my opinion there? The thread has been dead for around half a year, so I wasn't sure whether I could chip in or not.

Managed to get it registered without removing from inventory. Keygen not as easy to find as before.
Didnt manage to run it properly, bizarre slowness. Seems like vogel finally made the leap to buggy shit that needs to be patched after release.
So I run it with fast graphics on. Same deal.
I run it in DirectX mode, runs fine, no color hues for the game's models though. Fail.
I update my ATI drivers, now regular mode crashes at startup, and DirectX mode is the only one that runs.
Fuck you Jeff Vogel. Fuck you.

The Game Is Too Slow Or Doesn’t Look Right!
If Geneforge 5: Overthrow is too slow or the graphics don’t draw correctly (such as the title screen being all white), try the following steps:
1. Right after you run the game, select Run In Fast Graphics Mode on the Resolution window.
2. If Step 1 doesn’t help, try running the DirectX version. You can find this in the Start menu, in All Programs > Spiderweb Software > Geneforge 5. Don’t use the DirectX version unless the regular version doesn’t work.
3. If Step 2 doesn’t help, you can find more information at

Of cource he pirates the game only because it's *shit* you know. If only one of all the games was any good - well then he would buy it for sure...Abraham Philip A.G. said:Pirating an indie game, though, is just...ugh.
