Game News Eschalon: Book III Announced

I've really liked this series so far. It's just a game you will either outright hate or like. Anyways will be purchasing this to support this guy as well as to support his upcoming blobber like game he said he may do after this trilogy. <3

I also really liked both games.
But the walking speed is tedious and rage-inducing. At least in part I. Don't know what I thought about it in part II, so it can't be as bad as in the first one

The speed never bothered me actually. Surprising really, but I'm sometimes patient with games I want to try.

I managed to be patient with Book 2 the first time, but you really start feel the slowness in replays.

I think the truth is that if he made the walking speed significantly faster, you would play through all of his content very quickly.

I wouldn't mind. These are games that I like to replay so I'm still going to get a a good hours from them, even if the playthroughs are a few hours shorter. I have 80 hours clocked in Eschalon 2. That's pretty good for an indie RPG, I think. Pretty damn good for an RPG period, actually.

Hey this sries looks really nice and charming, are there Codex reviews for them or where could I find a good review that talkas a bit about the combat systems and mechanics?

Elwro wrote the Codex reviews which I thought were pretty much spot-on: Book I, Book II (sadly, the image links appear to be broken).
