was available in various forms for a while now. Is it truly complete or got to wait a bit longer?

It's a complete game, but they still intend to add stuff to it.

its... not very fun in long run.
Both save scumming and ironman modes suck. It could use something in between with bigger overhaul of game systems.
Game throws a lot of checks at you. Pure rng. You cant even pass through half of the areas, instead you are forced to make yet another check.

To show in example... You come across tall climb. You see that it is hard. You cant just decide to turn back. EXPLORATION check starts NOW!
There are no fun fail states either.

As such you either save scum a lot(which saves you time, to do it 'proper way' would be going back to heal and trying again) or you ironman it... meaning you throw a money to boost your chances:
there are temples. Specific temples offer rezzurection agreement. Others give you blessings that help with specific check type failure. There are a LOT of gods and remembering them is just annoying. Especially if you happened to rob one temple, couldnt be bothered to remember god name and are attacked on sight(yet another check).
If you play properly money is limited and you will quickly run out. Good thing you can farm gold quickly 100gp per simple fight in one of the early game towns. To play ironman is to keep farmin that gold and not running out of blessings.

Even more annoying that there are very few limited paths. Instead you are railroaded into check that your character shouldnt even be attempting, like praying as a grave/temple robbing thief.

Yeah, watching some gameplay footage it seems like your choices for overcoming obstacles are embarrassingly limited for a text-based game. Every step you take is just a diceroll based off one of the 8 total skills in the game with a binary outcome, usually just succeed and nothing happens or fail and you lose some health but otherwise still nothing happens.

Garbage game. Basically a walking simulator with RNG to check whether or not your character dies.
