The dialog is really awkward which sucks but was the one thing I was 100% would suck.

The African American nitpick is silly on Bethseda's part, but it will be a massive reference if the game sucks.

IMO they should just name the choices 1 through 4 and leave it at that.

On the topic of black vs. African American I find it interesting that whites always have to describe a black person as black even when it's not important for what's being explained (like in "a fucking nigger almost ran over me with his car" vs. "a fucking idiot almost ran over me with his car").

Acctualy it does, statsticly blacks are bad drivers (or was that just the females?), so the first is more mundane then the 2nd.

If you believe in evolution all theories point to humans having originated in Africa. So every single American, even the U.S. Americans are of African descent. Also why call one group African American (although those can be white, see above) and the others white/caucasian if all you wanted to say was "black"?

African-American was used for about 40 years before white people realized it was OK to say black. And no one at all calls white people African Americans, no matter where they are from.

And I've got to agree with the group that's calling the use of African American slightly racist. Using it to the exclusion of other terms like Asian American is an awfully specific and somewhat suspect use of a PC term. It probably isn't anything intentional, but if you guys are catching on to it then it will probably call more attention to itself.

A slider bar to select skin-tone would have been a much better choice.

Also, the idea of Black and Asian Liam Neeson is damn funny.
